About

I’m Jacob Kornfeld, a UX researcher and designer based in Chicago. My work moves across interface design, fashion, objects, photography, and visual systems.

I’m interested in the details that make things feel considered — how an interface sits in front of someone, how a tool gets used, how materials carry mood, and how small moments of friction can make a design feel more human.

I recently graduated from DePaul University with a BS in User Experience Design. My background includes product guidance at Arc’teryx Chicago, user research at Northwestern University, and design work that connects digital systems with physical environments.
